Violência de Gênero e seus Autores: Representações dos Profissionais de Saúde / Gender Violence and Perpetrators: Representations of Health Professionals / La Violencia de Género y los Autores: Representaciones de Profesionales de la Salud

Este estudo objetivou compreender as representações sociais de profissionais da saúde sobre a violência contra a mulher e os homens autores. Foram entrevistados 25 profissionais dos três níveis de atenção à saúde a partir de um roteiro de entrevista semiestruturado. Os dados foram tratados pela análise de conteúdo temática e pelo software Iramuteq. Os resultados apontaram a representação da violência contra a mulher objetivada na violência física e ancorada na agressão; e do homem autor dessa violência objetivado na figura do covarde. As práticas profissionais relacionadas a episódios de violência contra a mulher ainda são incipientes. Destaca-se a necessidade de investir em processos de capacitação dos profissionais para trabalharem mais assertivamente com a temática.(AU)

This research aimed to understand the social representations of health professionals about the violence against women and the male perpetrators. For this purpose, 25 health professionals were interviewed using a semistructured interview guide. The data were analyzed according to the thematic content analysis using the Iramuteq software. The results showed that the social representation of violence against women was objectified in physical violence and anchored on aggression. And the male perpetrator of this violence was objectified in the figure of the cowardly. The professional practices related to episodes of violence are still incipient. Therefore, we emphasize the importance of investing in professional training to contribute with the professional routine in this theme.(AU)

El objetivo de este estudio fue comprender las representaciones sociales de los profesionales de la salud sobre la violencia contra la mujer y los hombres sus autores. Fueron entrevistados 25 profesionales de los tres niveles de atención de la salud a partir de una guía de entrevista semiestructurada. Los datos fueron tratados por el análisis de contenido temático y por el software Iramuteq. Los resultados señalaron la representación de la violencia contra la mujer, objetivada en la violencia física y anclada en la agresión; y del hombre autor de esta violencia objetivado en la figura del cobarde. Prácticas profesionales relacionadas con episodios de violencia contra la mujer todavía son incipientes. Existe la necesidad de invertir en los procesos de capacitación de los profesionales para trabajar más asertivamente en el tema.(AU)

Representações sociais de universitários sobre jovens e juventude / Social representations of students about younger crowds and the youth

O estudo objetivou identificar as representações sociais de universitários de Vitória/ES sobre jovens e juventude. Participaram 308 jovens de ambos os sexos, na faixa etária de 18 e 29 anos, estudantes de universidades no município de Vitória, ES. Os dados foram coletados através de questionários de associação livre, 308 ao total, e 14 entrevistas individuais, sendo submetidos ao software EVOC e categorizados através da análise de conteúdo. Os resultados indicaram uma representação de jovem como alguém que está vivenciando uma fase de preparação para a vida adulta, de aquisição de responsabilidades com o futuro, mas também como alguém imaturo e rebelde, capaz de praticar atos ilícitos. A juventude foi, então, representada como uma fase de preparação para a vida adulta, através da faculdade, e ao mesmo tempo um período de curtição e liberdade. (AU)

The object of the study was to identify the students' social representations from Vitória/ES about younger crowds and the youth. 308 young adults of both sexes participated, between 18 and 29, college students in the city of Vitória, ES. The data were collected through questionnaires of free association, 308 in total, and 14 individual interviews, being submitted to the software EVOC and categorized through content analysis. The results showed a representation of a young person as someone who is going through a moment of preparation to the adult life, acquisition of responsibilities with the future, but also like an immature and rebel being, capable of illicit deeds. The youth was then represented as a moment of preparation to the adult life, through college, and at the same time a moment to be free and enjoy it. (AU)
